How do I know what type of care I may need?
Have a conversation with your family and physician. After that, investigate local community options. If you are in need of skilled nursing, rehabilitation, a short term stay or hospice services, it may make sense to choose a skilled nursing facility. Someone who only needs minimal assistance to maintain their independence may want to explore assisted living. [Back to Top]
