Pulmonary rehabilitation is a medically supervised program to help people who have chronic breathing problems, including:
- COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease)
- CHF (congestive heart failure)
Our interdisciplinary team works together to create a program to address breathing issues to assist in the restoration of maximum independence for each patient. Rehabilitation maybe include exercise training and breathing techniques as well as counseling on energy conservation and nutrition.
Pulmonary rehabilitation cannot cure lung disease or completely ease breathing difficulties, but can be a vital part of improving daily function. Contact Franklin Ridge to learn more.
